Vinous Stephen Tanzer - 01 Mar 11
(bottled at the end of July, 2010): Very deep red. Black cherry, licorice and a hint of peppermint on the nose, lifted by a violet topnote. Juicy acidity gives a penetrating quality to the flavors of dark fruits, spices, mint and pepper. Tightens up on the back end, but the tannins are sweet.
